We are hiring a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift to oversee manufacturing operations, lead production teams, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support production employees across assigned departments.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance.
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations are met.
- Troubleshoot production issues with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and ERP/MRP updates.
- Enforce PPE, safety policies, 5S, and audit-ready work areas.
- Support Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide clear shift handoff communication to 1st shift supervisors.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of production or manufacturing experience.
- 1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety, and quality standards.
- Ability to read work instructions, schedules, and technical documentation.
- ERP/MRP system and basic computer skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead independently during 2nd shift operations.
Preferred:
- Experience in machining, fabrication, assembly, or similar manufacturing environments.
- ISO 9001 or QMS knowledge.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
