Position Overview:
VSSI Staffing is hiring an experienced High-Reach Forklift Operator for a busy warehouse operation in Dallas. This position is responsible for transporting, storing, and retrieving palletized products while maintaining inventory accuracy and following all safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to store and retrieve products from high warehouse racks.
- Complete put-away, replenishment, stacking, and order-picking tasks.
- Load, unload, stage, and transport pallets throughout the facility.
- Use an RF scanner to confirm product locations and inventory movements.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and storage locations for accuracy.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns.
- Follow warehouse procedures and meet daily productivity expectations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and obstruction-free work areas.
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least one year of recent reach truck experience is preferred.
- Experience working with high-rack storage systems.
- RF scanner and inventory-handling experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and workplace safety.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work until daily production is completed.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
