Engine / Transmission Disassembly Technician (Temp-to-Hire)

Dallas, TX 75207 $16.00/hour (starting pay) Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and mechanically inclined individuals for an Engine / Transmission Disassembly Technician position. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing automotive parts company specializing in dismantling engines and transmissions.

Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of automotive systems and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Disassemble engines and transmissions safely and efficiently.
Use air tools and other equipment to take apart automotive components.
Identify and work with different socket sizes and tools.
Follow production goals and maintain consistent output.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge or general understanding of engines and/or transmissions.
Experience using air tools and power tools (impact guns, etc.).
Ability to recognize different socket sizes and tools.
Comfortable working in a production-based environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Training:

Employees will receive off-site training for a few weeks to ensure understanding of processes and expectations.

Pay & Schedule:

Starting Pay: $16.00/hour.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire.
